concept
Rather than a technical "advanced" search using lots
of filters and expression modifiers resulting in a list,
I thought it might be fun to reduce the information clutter and
simply watch a river of images go by
I like the idea of 'infinite scroll' but one of the problems with it is
finding things that have passed by or getting interrupted and losing your place,
this is where the scrapbook idea came in - just hover over an image anywhere
in the stream to get the option to view or save it to your scrapbook
Scrapbooks are shared between the search pages,
you can mix and match items from different
searches in the same scrapbook and create multiple scrapbooks
Your scrapbooks are saved by your browser and
will persist until you clear your browser cache
Your browser needs to support "HTML5 local storage"
- most modern browsers do
If using the Chrome browser you can even save a scrapbook as an HTML page
roadmap
More of a cross-country ramble, stopping to admire the view along the way
